Who doesn't love going to REI?! REI is right up there with Nordstrom and UrbanOutfitters in my mind. REI just allows you to achieve your travel/adventure goals. The people who work there love their jobs and really know their stuff. You could ask them anything, they will have an answer for you. The last time I went there for their sale I ended up getting some hiking boots and yup…zip off hiking pants (similar to these). You're probably asking 'Why the switch?'
Let me tell you. Fashions on the Fly has been amazing, it has allowed me to meet SO many people and make amazing new friends. But it has always been so hard for me to blog about other things that I love. The word 'fashion' in the name held me back, and made me think I need to only blog about fashion & style. Fashion is fun to blog about and it's ever changing, but fashion only consumes about 10% of my life. I love hiking, biking, traveling, home decor, furniture refinishing, and much MUCH more. I want to be able to share with blogworld who I really am, what I really love, and what makes me, me, that's when Nikki Anne came.
